Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God
Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God: Bishop Kevin Vann has granted a dispensation for the faithful of the Diocese of Orange from the obligation to attend mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God on January 1st. However, the faithful are strongly encouraged to mark this day with special devotion in their homes and celebrate mass if able. Our parish will be offering a 9am morning mass in English for those that are able to join us. From La Purisima to you and your family, Happy New Year!
El Obispo Kevin Vann ha concedido una dispensa a los fieles de la Diócesis de Orange de la obligación de asistir a misa por la Solemnidad de María, Madre de Dios, el 1 de enero. Sin embargo, se anima a los fieles a celebrar este día con devoción especial en sus hogares y celebrar misa si pueden. Nuestra parroquia ofrecerá una misa por la mañana a las 9 en inglés para aquellos que puedan acompañarnos. De parte de La Purisima a ustedes y su familia, Feliz Año Nuevo!
